Anthem Statement D2v Processor and P5 Multi-channel Amplifier Win Prestigious European Award

Anthem is proud to announce the Statement D2v and P5 multi-channel amplifier as winners of a European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) European HT High-End Award for 2009-2010. The EISA recognizes Anthem for combining the most advanced technology, the most desirable features, the ultimate expression of design, the most satisfying ergonomics and the greatest value.

Chosen annually by panels representing more than 50 prominent photo, video, audio, home theater and mobile electronics magazines from 20 European countries, EISA-nominated products undergo detailed test evaluations, with the final list of nominated products debated in detail at EISA's Annual General Meeting (AGM), attended by Editors-in-Chief from all EISA member magazines.

In describing Anthem’s processing and amplification package, the EISA states:

“Hailing from Canada’s Paradigm stable, this massive AV processor/power amplifier combination offers decoding for all Dolby and DTS HD-audio formats while the modular amplifier platform is available in both two and five-channel variants, rates at a substantial 325W. Packed with useful features, the D2v processor offers no less than eight HDMI 1.3 inputs, two outputs, 10 S.PDIF digital inputs and a full 10 channels of balanced analog outputs.

The latest v.2 version also includes Dolby Volume together with a bespoke and powerful EQ system called Anthem Room Correction (ARC) developed from research conducted by the Canadian Research Council. This software is run on a PC hooked into the processor via RS232 connection. The sound of the combination is both massive in its architecture and riveting in its detail, a tour-de-force of musical and movie action to power the grandest of home theatre systems.”

The entire Anthem team is grateful to the EISA for recognizing the value and performance benefits of our Statement D2v and P5 and we're fortunate to have such great support in Europe and abroad.
