First Paradigm Premium Wireless PW 800 Review Published by HD Living is a Winner!

HD Living recently review the Paradigm Premium Wireless PW 800 and gave it major kudos for it's acoustic ability, flexibility (thanks to ARC) and cosmetics!

"Post Anthem Room Correction... its performance is pretty much flawless. What’s more, I found that ARC allowed me to get pretty wacky with positioning and still enjoy a really super sweet audio experience... I was a little shocked by just how well the PW 800 handled the wide, expansive stereo sound... with a little subwoofer attached, the PW 800 absolutely rocked my face off my skull... It’s gorgeously built, beautifully designed, and looks amazing on a tabletop or even on a larger bookshelf. Kudos to Paradigm for putting as much work into the style as they did the sound... I think Paradigm has one heck of a wireless speaker on its hands here... If you’ve written off wireless speakers as sub-par from a performance standpoint in the past, you owe it to yourself to find your local Paradigm dealer and hear the PW 800 for yourself." - Dennis Burger

"By investing completely in sound and build quality, they have been able to make one of the best performing A/V receivers on the market." - Peter Loeser, Home Theater Shack

Home Theater Shack published a fantastic review of the Anthem MRX 710!

"If I had to summarize this receiver with just a few words I'd say "simplicity and consistency"... made for those who prefer to enjoy music in it's purest form, without a sea of features and settings to navigate and/or probably disable. That's not to say the MRX-710 doesn't have what you need. It absolutely gives you all you need to build an amazing home theater system. If you're looking to take a great quality 2-channel listening experience and expand it to include movies, this receiver is calling your name. It is excellent for music, but with the added bonus of superb Blu-ray playback. It does all you need to experience excellent Blu-ray playback, and nothing more. And for many "purists" nothing more is desired. I believe Anthem has proven that by investing completely in sound and build quality, they have been able to make one of the best performing A/V receivers on the market above and below it's price." - Peter Loeser

Top 10 Reasons to buy from a Local Custom Integrator - According to Residential Systems

We stumbled across a great article from Residential Systems last month that discussed the advantages to buying from a local custom integrator. This subject is incredibly close to our heart as we only distribute our products through specialty retailers and custom integrators.

"We know why we want people to shop local, and yet we sometimes forget to remind the public of the grand benefits. We get lost in the day-to-day of running a business and forget to remind the world of the importance of supporting local merchants. Here are 10 reasons one should shop with you, their local AV integrator." - Heather Sidorowicz

Below are the 10 reasons Heather offers...

1. Money stays local
2.  The difference between reviews and integrators
3. Test drive before you buy
4. Technology Partner
5. We can program a remote
6. We live for this stuff
7. We know what works together
8. We know what technology will survive
9. We know magic

"...Anthem Statement A5 deserves to be right at the top of your short list. Highly Recommended." - Dave Upton of Home Theater Forum

Dave Upton of Home Theater Forum reviewed the Anthem Statement A5 and was very pleased with it's sonic muscle - so much so that he gave is his "Highly Recommended" stamp of approval.

"......amplifiers are the cornerstone of your entire system and once you go with separates, they are an investment you can enjoy for decades if you so choose. It is through that lens that one has to evaluate a product like the Anthem Statement A5. There’s no mistaking Anthem makes high dollar, bulletproof gear no matter what they are building. In the case of the Statement A5, Anthem has delivered a product that while expensive, is worth every penny. For anyone looking for a truly superb all around performer that can go toe to toe with the best two channel digital amps while still functioning as the foundation of a high SPL no-compromise home theater, the Anthem Statement A5 deserves to be right at the top of your short list. Highly Recommended."

Anthem MRX 710 named "The Best" A/V receiver by Digital Trends

The Anthem MRX 710 was named "The Best" of "8 gutsy, feature-packed receivers to get your home theater pumping" by Digital Trends.

"The Anthem MRX 710 is not a receiver to be trifled with. More like a set of high-end separates than a receiver, the MRX 710 delivers sound that is as musically satisfying as it is cinematically energizing. Expect eight HDMI inputs and dual HDMI outputs, along with 4K upscaling and pass-through. The 7.1-channel receiver also comes bundled with the Anthem Room Correction System, aka “ARC,” allowing you to professionally calibrate the receiver’s output using an independent USB microphone, microphone stand and a laptop computer. It’s even adorned with a slew of great speaker configuration options and a robust power supply that delivers 120 real-world watts per channel. While not compatible with Dolby Atmos, the MRX 710 remains one of the most sonically-satisfying receivers we’ve ever experienced."

It doesn't get better than that!

Anthem MRX 710 Wins 2014 Product of the Year Award from SoundStage! Network

At CES 2015, Anthem was presented with a 2014 Product of the Year Award from SoundStage! Network. The MRX 710 won in the category of "Outstanding Performance".

Anthem's Erin Phillips receiving the Product of the Year Award from SoundStage!

"A decade ago, who would have thought that a Canadian company, not one of the vast Japanese conglomerates, would be producing the most highly regarded A/V receivers? Well, that’s precisely what’s happened. As our reviewers have continued to pit the Anthems against the rest, one thing has become clear: the Anthem Room Correction (ARC) system beats them all, and puts the MRX line clearly at the head of the pack." - Jeff Fritz, SoundStage! Network

"The Anthem Statement D2v 3D continues to be a reference quality component that delivers outstanding audio performance" - Robert Kozel, Secrets of Home Theater & High Fidelity

Robert Kozel of Secrets of Home Theater & High Fidelity and an owner of an Anthem D2 recently reviewed the Anthem Statement D2v 3D to see how it differed from the previous generation. Below is a summary of his thoughts after spending some time with the D2v 3D...

"The Statement D2v 3D is a great example of a product that was designed with high performance in mind. The Statement D2v 3D doesn’t have all the latest features, but it delivers excellent audio and video performance for both two-channel stereo and multi-channel music and movies alike."

Anthem Statement D2v 3D Processor Highlights Summary
  • The Statement D2v 3D includes Anthem Room Correction using the ARC-1 RS-232 serial-interface.
  • The Statement D2v 3D performed very well on the bench with very low distortion measurements.
  • The Statement D2v 3D includes a Sigma VXP video processor, supports HDMI v1.4a, and offers a video passthrough mode for use with 3D and 2D video.
  • The sound is reference quality with excellent detail and a wonderfully silent noise floor.
  • This is most likely the last upgrade we’ll see on this generation of the Statement D2v hardware.

"The Anthem Statement D2v 3D continues to be a reference quality component that delivers outstanding audio performance. Its feature set is unique among the high-end processors since it contains a superb video processor and Anthem Room Correction"

Anthem MRX 510 strikes again, earning a Reviewers' Choice award and high praise from SoundStage! Network

After previously reviewing the MRX 500 and loving it, Vince Hanada of SoundStage! Network wanted to see what kind of improvements the MRX 510 offered. So we sent him one for review. Along with giving it a 'Reviewers' Choice Award', Vince had plenty of nice things to say about it. Below is a quote taken from his review...

"When I tried Anthem’s Performance MRX 500 A/V receiver, I was wowed by the built-in Anthem Room Correction system, and called that model a true bargain among home-theater receivers. The Performance MRX 510 ups the performance of ARC to provide unprecedented control and feedback for room correction, and raises the bar for home-theater receivers... If you value sound quality and like to take some control over your speakers, as I do, I highly recommend the Anthem Performance MRX 510."
